Wits visit broadens RHS learners’ scientific horizons

RHS learners stepped beyond the classroom to explore the world of biomedical sciences and future healthcare careers at Wits.

Grade 11 learners from Randfontein High School (RHS) explored potential healthcare careers during an educational visit to the University of the Witwatersrand.

Academic environments and specialized museums

During their time on campus, the group toured the Wits Life Sciences Museum and the Adler Museum of Medicine.

They also visited the Unit for Undergraduate Medical Education to gain insight into the educational pathways required for medical studies.

The visit directly complemented their Life Sciences curriculum by offering practical exposure to various scientific disciplines and potential career options.
