Riebeeckrand’s 30 young leaders selected for Junior Council

Young representatives prepare to tackle youth and community issues while honing their leadership skills in a new term.

Thirty learners from Hoërskool Riebeeckrand have been selected to serve on the Junior Council for the 2026/2027 term.

The appointment gives the learners an opportunity to develop leadership skills, collaborate with other young representatives and contribute to discussions on issues affecting youth and their communities.

Selected learners include Adams Eaton, Aiden Adcock, Ivanka Buytendag, Cherize Collins, Thato Claasen, Mikayla Croukamp, Keenan de Kock, Kayleigh Enslin, Delinise Gouws, Jordan Henning, Janicka Hurn, Janco Jacobs, Khumo Jacobs, Mienke Kern, Tshiamo Khozamula, Janiska Krugel, Realeboga Kwenamore, Sinenhlanhla Makhanya, Onalo Makoatsane, Lodewyk Marais, Kutlwano Mawunda, Caden McCarthy, Walter Mlambo, Bonolo Mokobane, Nicole Mudari kwa, Nikah Nortier, Kiana Potgieter, AJ van Zyl, Cassidy Visagie and Monique Viviers.
