Disappointed with the municipality
Judging with their response in the paper, I cannot help but feel like they do not care for residents of this town.

Having read about the sewage that is being dumped into the local stream, I cannot express how disgusted I am and disappointed at the Randfontein Local Municipality.
First thing’s first, it is very negligent of them to allow water infested with feces to flow into the stream.
Clearly it is not rocket science to know that this poses as a health hazard not only to residents but to animals drinking that water as well.
Judging with their response in the paper, I cannot help but feel like they do not care for residents of this town.
But then again, it does not surprise me at all.
We have seen it with the lack of service delivery with regards to cleaning the parks in this town as well as making sure that the roads are in a good condition.
If you ask me, a bunch of lazy people are occupying office and working towards getting their pockets full and if that is how the municipality is run, then surely things are yet to fall apart even worse.
I feel like residents will complain until blue in the face and the municipality including the Mayor just couldn’t be bothered.
The only time they actually sit up and take notice of residents outcries is when people stage a strike or ahead of elections.
That is when we get proper service delivery in this town
