Thank you to the Municipal Manager and Councilor Xolisa Ntsepo

They took a resolution and declared that Mogale will never cut-off electricity and water supply to residents of the area until the issue of incorrect billing in Randfontein is sorted out.

• Cope West Rand Region Organizer Nicodemus Phake writes:

Cope wishes to express a word of thanks, appreciationa and gratitude for the bold stand that was taken by the Randfontein Local Municipality Municipal Manager Mpho Mogale and Ward 2 Councilor Xolisa Ntsepo in Finsbury during a community meeting that was held on 29 October.

They took a resolution and declared that Mogale will never cut-off electricity and water supply to residents of the area until the issue of incorrect billing in Randfontein is sorted out.

However, the community has been requested and encouraged to continue paying their bills just to inject cash flow into the municipality.

The other resolution that was taken was that the Municipal Manager must recognize the Finsbury Concerned Residents Committeee as a legitimate committee that will always represent the wishes of the people.

The next community meeting will be held on 15 November at the Finsbury Park.

Cope wishes to encourage residents ot attend this important meeting.
