Westcol students bursaries

It has come to our attention that there are some thieves and fraudsters who are stealing student's bursary funds.

• Cope West Rand region organizer Nicodemus Phake writes:

Congress of the people (COPE) wishes to invite Westcol students at the Randfontein campus to attend a meeting on 26 November at the Cope regional offices situated on Main Reef Road.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at 12 noon.

We urge all the students who have not yet received their bursary funds to bring their Identity Documents (ID), student cards and any other material in relation to their bursary applications or approval thereof.

It has come to our attention that there are some thieves and fraudsters who are stealing student’s bursary funds.

Cope is determined to expose such crooks and fraudsters from any academic institution.

I also request that parents and guardians of the affected learners be part of this important meeting.
