Be cautious of sunburn this summer
Always wear sunblock and try to stay in the shade where possible.

With the summer in full swing, all of us are likely to enjoy a day next to the swimming pool along with friends and family.
Although this is a great way to spend the summer, I want to urge the community to be cautious of sunburn and the dangers it holds for you.
My family and I went to a local dam during the previous weekend to enjoy some fishing and although it was a great outing, my son got burnt badly and ended up with sunstroke.
When we took him to the hospital, the nurse on duty informed us about the dangers sunburn holds for the human body.
After a long talk with the nurse, I had a better understanding of the best times of day to be in the sun.
If you are planning a day at the dam or next to the swimming pool, be sure to stay out of the sunlight between midday and 3pm as the sun is at its hottest during those times.
Always wear sunblock and try to stay in the shade where possible.
This is just a few tips the nurse gave me and I truly hope that every resident will benefit from this advice.
