Residents have been asking questions about the construction going on at Tambotie Mall.
The Herald went to find out what was going on, and it was confirmed – “It’s just Randfontein’s own Burger King”, said Lenette Nordin, from Centre Management. The fast-food restaurant will open in a few months’ time.

• Cindy Vorster – We have enough food places, we need entertainment such as a cinema.
• Bets van der Berg – Stop the take-away food outlets and give us a clean Food Lovers Market … please. And a cinema. There are enough take-away food outlets in town.
