Join local bowlers for winter fun
With winter in our midst, the Randfontein Bowling Club members urge the community to come and warm the winter spirit during one of their fun days.

After kicking the new year off on a high note the Randfontein Bowling Club invites the community at large to attend their fun days throughout the year.
With the winter in our midst, the chairperson of Randfontein Bowling Club (RBC), Alastair Hepburn, says that they can promise each and everyone who visits the club that they will be in warm company, filled with great bowling fun.
He adds that they are organising various fun days throughout the winter months to attract people to the club.
According to him this is a great way to warm up the winter spirit while having fun at the same time.
“In the past, the fun days we had were a huge success, therefore we will continue to host these days once a month,” says Alastair.
The RBC needs all the help they can get to ensure their growth in years to come.
According to Alastair, things are back on track at the club but they still urge the community to join the club or just come and join in the fun at one of their scheduled fun days.
People who have never played bowls before are also welcome to come and enjoy any fun day at the club and even learn how to play bowls as the RBC has professional players who will teach them how to play.
“In this way we prepare the bowlers of tomorrow,” says Alastair.
The fun days at the RBC are for all to enjoy.
“If you want to learn how to play but do not have bowls, the club will provide the beginners with a set of bowls to play with at these fun days,” says Alastair.
All the players at the club are still preparing for their games as they are playing in the Sables District League, which is a prestigious league where RBC is one of the favourites.
