Gifted football player a rising star
The Trapsonpor Football Club player, Gift Mwale, has introduced himself and has big dreams for the future.
Gift Mwale (21), who has a natural talent in football, is a rising star. Not only does he dream of starting a professional career but also wants to play against the big dogs in the big leagues one day.
Gift currently plays for the Trapsonpor Football Club as an attacking midfielder.
He started taking football seriously at the age of 12 when he had joined the Napoli Football Club in Mohlakeng. Thereafter he began playing in big football tournaments. This only made his passion for the sport bigger than ever before.
“When I am on the field playing against my opponents, it makes me forget about all of my current issues. It makes me feel elated whenever I get the chance to play football,” he expressed.
He added he strives to play soccer on a professional league and would like to make an income from the sport. This way he can provide for his family one day and change his circumstances to something positive. He would also like to open his own Football Academy to train young and upcoming players like himself.
His biggest role model is Relebogile Mofokeng from the Orlando Pirates Football Club.
Furthermore, Gift advised young striving players to never give up.
“Men’s football can have a lot of challenges but you should know that giving up will not help to defeat them. Do not give up that easy,” he said.
