Hoërskool Riebeeckrand produced an impressive all-round performance against Hoërskool Linden in a superb day of schoolboy rugby, with the home side winning the majority of their fixtures across the age groups.

The action-packed encounter on Saturday, June 6, showcased the depth and talent within the Riebeeckrand rugby structures, as several teams delivered dominant displays while others battled bravely in closely contested clashes.

The U14A side set the tone early, securing a hard-fought 19–12 victory with a disciplined defensive effort and well-taken scoring opportunities. However, the U15A team found themselves on the wrong side of a tight contest, going down narrowly 17–21 in one of the most competitive matches of the day.

Riebeeckrand’s U15B side responded emphatically, running in a commanding 68–19 win in a high-scoring affair that highlighted their attacking prowess and clinical finishing.

The U16A match proved to be another nail-biter, with Riebeeckrand edging out their opponents 34–28 in an entertaining encounter that kept spectators on the edge of their seats until the final whistle.

In the senior ranks, the second team delivered a solid performance to claim a convincing 33–12 victory, showing structure and control throughout the match.

The highlight of the day came from the first team, who capped off a successful outing with a strong 38–24 win. Their performance combined physical dominance with exciting backline play, ensuring Riebeeckrand walked away with bragging rights.
