Bolokang making big soccer strides
The Trapsonpor Football Club player, Bolokang Segokotlo, has introduced himself and has big dreams for the future.
Bolokang Segokotlo (19), a midfielder currently playing for Trapsonpor Football Club, aspires to reach his goals.
His true passion for the sport started when he was 13 years old. He used to work as a ball boy and fetch balls that were kicked over the sideline.
Afterwards, Bolokang joined the football club and started practising to become a great player.
I can see myself playing football on DStv. I would like to play in the premiership,” he stated.
His role models include Bathusi Aubuuas and Tebogo Mokoena. His proudest achievement was when he was recognised as the best football player at his school.
“Football clears my mind and keeps me out of trouble. The most important thing to remember when trying to reach your goals is to keep trying and never lose hope.
“Football also protects children’s minds and it helps keep them off the streets. Therefore, football is a very important interest for the youth.”
