Boost your mental edge at RandMark’s club night

RandMark will host an event on September 18 to help athletes improve their mental preparation for major sporting events.

RandMark is hosting a special club night to educate the community on the importance of an athlete’s mental state.

Running representative for the club, Karin Bezuidenhout, explained that the event will take place at 19:30 on September 18.

The theme of the event is ‘The Mind Game – Unlocking Your Mental Edge for Big Sporting Events’.

They will host guest speakers, including Ailsa Holtzhausen, a motivational speaker, and Ultra-Trail runner Jarryd James. Ailsa will discuss mental preparation, while Jarryd will share his experiences running long-distance races.

“Whether you’re chasing a personal best, aiming for the 100th Comrades Marathon or simply want to run stronger and finish with a smile, your mental state can make or break your race. Join us for an evening that could change how you approach your training, your race and maybe even your limits,” said Karin.
