RandMark shows fitness and team spirit across two races

RandMark continues to shine, showing their strength and teamwork at the Tough One Race and Sondela Stage Race.

RandMark runners and cyclists recently showcased their fitness and dedication in two separate events.

Frank Ferreira, a member of the club’s management team, explained that the runners took part in the Rand Athletic Club’s Tough One Race on November 23.

“The name says it all, and it was a tough one,” Frank said. He added that 11 club members participated, and all of them finished with impressive times.

From November 28 to December 1, their cyclists competed in the Sondela Stage Race in Limpopo. Twenty members participated, and all completed the race. Notably, Burri Smith finished third in the E-bike category.

The race covered multiple legs: 20km on the first day, 60km on November 29, and 40km on the final day.

“The spirit and camaraderie were amazing, and everyone went home with a smile,” Frank concluded.
