Kardia House Gr 7s put entrepreneurial skills to the test
Colourful stalls, tempting treats and fun games gave learners a taste of what it takes to run a small business.
Kardia House International School’s Grade Seven learners put their entrepreneurial skills into action during a lively Market Day at the school on September 15.
The young entrepreneurs set up colourful stalls and sold a variety of sweets, treats, snacks, beauty accessories, ice treats and refreshing drinks to fellow learners and staff.
Fun games also formed part of the day’s activities, adding to the excitement and helping learners attract customers to their stalls. The Market Day gave learners practical experience in selling products, interacting with customers, managing money and promoting their small businesses.
The event also encouraged creativity and teamwork as the Grade Sevens put their entrepreneurial ideas into practice.
