Water tanker dispatched to Moreleta Park
Tshwane metro apologises to residents of Moreleta Park who have been without water from Sunday, while they are working hard to repair a burst main pipe.

A water tanker was dispacted to the Moreleta Park area following the water disruption and supply in the area since Sunday, the Tshwane metro said on Monday.
Spokesman Selby Bokaba said the tanker was dispatched to the area as an interim measure to customers.
“A 355mm diameter main water pipe burst on Sunday and this led to the disruption of water supply in the area.”
Bokaba said the metro’s electricians have been hard at work to repair the burst pipe.
“The water reservoir in Elardus Park which supplies water to the affected area was closed to allow the operators to work on the pipe.”
He also indicated that the water is expected to be restored around 16:00 on Monday.
“The metro wishes to apologise to all its customers affected by the water disruption in the Moreleta Park area,” Bokaba concluded.
