On the 28 July Willowridge High celebrated the completion of the ’67 Blankets for Madiba Day’ by handing over the completed blankets to three of the school’s chosen charities, The Potato Foundation, Heineke House and Protea Retirement Village. Children from the Potato Foundation were invited to Willowridge to accept the blankets that had been lovingly made by staff and pupils.

Food parcels were also donated by the Willoway SPAR. Preparations are now underway to create another 67 blankets.
