Rekord did the #MNDIceBucketChallenge

We accepted the challenge. Watch the video!

The #ALSIceBucketChallenge has taken the internet by storm with everyone from world famous to local celebrities doing it. Even principals and teachers of schools have been filmed with sopping wet hair and clothing.

The challenge started in the United States, where it is known as the #ALSIceBucketChallenge. The person who accepts the challenge has to pour a bucket of ice cold water over his or her head and donate money to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association.

Locally, the nominee has to do the same except donate their money to the J9 Foundation, which Joost van der Westhuizen formed. He was diagnosed in 2011 with motor neuron disease (MND), which is fatal.

We accepted the #MNDIceBucketChallenge.

Thank you for the nomination!
