A Centurion jogger is in a critical condition after he was stabbed multiple times on Tuesday night.
The jogger was attacked around 19:30 in Apiesdoring Drive in Heuweloord, Centurion.
According to Santi Steinmann, Netcare 911 spokesperson, the jogger was in a critical condition when paramedics arrived at the scene.
“When the paramedics arrived on the scene they found the man lying on the ground. The exact details around the stabbing are still unclear,” she said.
The jogger had been treated on the scene and transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
Constable Tumisang Moloto, police spokesperson, said he cannot confirm the stabbing incident at this time but will investigate the matter.
