Four alleged thieves were caught on camera on Tuesday whilst steeling a motorcycle from a house in Wekker Street, Moreleta Park in broad daylight.
The video footage shows the four men in a white Opel Corsa bakkie, with registration number WWJ 858 GP, reversing into the driveway of Vince Leita’s house.
The men are seen around 11:25 casually and almost effortlessly loading the motorcycle onto the bakkie before leaving the scene minutes later.
It is believed the thieves got access to the driveway by lifting the electronic motor gate from the rail.
Soon afterwards, Leita arrived home and noticed the open gate.
“I then realised my Honda CB1000R motorcycle (in a beige colour) was missing,” he said.
The Garsfontein police is investigating the case.
