Wonderboompoort police are asking for assistance from residents to capture two men in the area.
Spokesperson for Wonderboompoort police Warrant Officer Wanda Olivier said one is wanted in connection with a robbery in September. “The man aggressively threatended a person with a knife, pushed him to the floor and left with jewelry.”
He is a white male of medium complexion with well-kept grey hair and well build. He is approximately 40 years old and 1,7 meters tall. At the time of the crime he was wearing a red shirt and light brown coloured short pants. He spoke Afrikaans and English and used a knife that he took from the kitchen.
The other man is wanted for fraud which involved a forged cheque.
Anyone who knows the whereabouts of these men can contact Detective Warrant Officer Wessel Pieterse during office hours on 012-3352811/2/3.
In an unrelated case Wonderboompoort police searched a man’s car and found a load of copper pipes. “Police found copper pipes in the vehicle and the driver of the vehicle could not give any explanation on how he got the pipes in his possession. A case of theft of copper pipes was earlier registered by the owner of Coffee@Capital. The owner came to the scene and brought along a copper pipe that looked exactly like these in the vehicle.” Olivier said.
