Striking post office employees dressed in red Communications Workers Union T-shirts gathered outside the Tshwane Mail Centre on Thursday afternoon and threatened employees who returned to work.
“Magundwane (rats) we are going to burn you today,” said one of them.
About 100 strikers in front of the mail centre stopped people from entering or leaving the building.
Police were inside the centre, keeping a close watch. No streets had been blocked-off and traffic was flowing as usual.
