Consider your boredom busted this weekend.

Pretoria Neon Run

Put on your party shoes, but make sure you can run in them too, because the Neon Run is happening!

This neon-extravaganza takes place at Supersport Park on Saturday and will see participants run, walk, cycle or skate a 5km route at night covered in neon accessories and body paint.

DJs of 5fm Roger Goode, Rob Forbes and Poppy are guaranteed to get you on your feet and dancing the night away.

Gates open at 15:00. Tickets are R230 per person. Children under 11 get in for R90.

Ready, set, glow!

Pretoria Zoo Walk

Enjoy a tranquil walk or jog at the zoo on Saturday. This is perfect for early birds.

Gates open at 6:00 and the walk starts at 6:30.

Non-members: R40 per adult and R25 for children under 12 years of age. Members: R30 per adult and R25 for children under 12 years of age.

Please note, no card payments, strictly cash. The cost includes a beautiful medal.

Refreshments are on sale at the finish line.

Irene Village Market

With December and Christmas just around the corner, the Irene Village Market already offers Christmassy snacks and potential gifts for anyone of any age.

The market will be held at the Smuts House Museum from 09:00 to 14:00 on Saturday.

Optimum Oriental Belly Dance Spectacular

This glamourous event is suitable for the entire family and will take place on Sunday at Atterbury Theatre.

The show will showcase choreographed belly dancing and will also display specially designed bling costumes.
