Robbers casually strike at petrol station
Video footage show robbers casually striking at a petrol station while petrol attendants seemingly do nothing to stop them.
Video footage of men casually robbing two people at a filling station on the R21 Road between Pretoria and Kempton Park in broad daylight has gone viral.
The recording appears to have been made by a closed circuit television camera at the station on Saturday around 11:00.
It shows two passengers of a Volkswagen getting out and walking towards another Volkswagen at the petrol pump next to them. The driver of the first Volkswagen appears to be sitting inside the car while his accomplices carry out the robbery.
One of them forces his hand inside the vehicle of the two robbery victims while they are sitting inside the car. The second man seemingly tries to open the boot.
The first robber grabs what appears to be a backpack out of the driver’s window while another takes a bag from the boot.
Three petrol attendants are seen nonchalantly walking past while watching the men operate, who finally drive off.
