Centurion man disappears from home

A 24-year-old man disappeared from his home in Zwartkops in the early hours of Monday morning.

A 24-year-old man disappeared from his home in Zwartkops, Centurion, on Monday and has since not been found.

Robert Clunie was last seen by his roommate at their flat in the Meerendal complex in the early hours of Monday morning.

“We suspect Robert drove somewhere as his bottle green 1997 Volkswagen Golf has also disappeared from the complex,” said his father, Shaun.

“He did not take his cellphone or laptop with him and therefore has no means of communication.”

Shaun said the family has contacted all Robert’s friends and posted about his disappearance on Facebook and Twitter.

“But there is still no sign of him,” said a concerned Shaun.

“We have reported it to the police and Pink Ladies.”

He said Robert has gone missing before, but did not want to elaborate on details.

Robert has brown hair and eyes and had a beard and moustache at the time of his disappearance. He is about 1.8 m tall, with a medium build and a tattoo of a Chinese sign under his left upper arm.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts are urged to contact Shaun on 083-252-7302, Robert’s mother, Erna on 082-390-2413 or his friend Monique on 072-470-0065.
