Minibus taxi overturns after collision

Paramedics took six people to local hospitals after an accident involving a minibus taxi and a car in Arcadia on Wednesday.

Six people were injured on Wednesday when a minibus taxi and a car collided in Arcadia.

An eyewitness said the minibus taxi crashed into a car that was crossing Park Street. The taxi driver lost control and his vehicle overturned.

Five people, the driver and four passengers, suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the car, a Nissan Micra, involved in the accident also sustained minor injuries.

Paramedics took all injured people to local hospitals.

In another accident in Arcadia, two cars collided on the corner of Eastwood and Francis Baard streets.

The drivers of both cars suffered minor injuries.
