Loyal police members honoured
Police officers and civilians honoured for their loyal service.
The Mamelodi police cluster have honoured a total of 49 loyal officers who had been serving for periods ranging between 10 and 30 years.
A presentation ceremony was held on Wednesday at Mamelodi West police station when medals and certificates were handed out. The honoured police officers and civilians were from different police stations within the cluster of Mamelodi. These included Eersterust, Kameeldrift, Mamelodi, Silverton and Sinoville police stations.
Major-general George Seswike was the keynote speaker and did the honours, handing out medals and certificates. He also encouraged loyal members to continue doing a good job.
