The Student Leadership Committee (SLC) at Abbotts College initiated the Easter egg collection, involving the entire school.

The committee visited hospitals and caring facilities, including the Netcare Hospital, which decorated their wards in celebration of this occasion.

Also on the list was the Vista Clinic a psychiatric hospital and the Centurion Hospice where the Nursing Services Manager, Irma Schnetler educated the Abbotts students about the facilities and services.

Other visiting points were the Centurion Eye Hospital, the Travel Clinic, Midstream Mediclinic (whom recently opened in March), Midstream Cure Clinic as well as the Inter Care Clinic in Southdowns.

All received something sweet to brighten up their day.

“The SLC continuously tackles projects that make a difference and through itsremarkable leadership skills, motivates the entire college to get involved. Corporate social investment is part of our culture and DNA at the College”, says Sanet van Rensburg, principal of Abbotts College Centurion.
