Water interruptions in the east
Several areas in the east will be without water from Thursday night until Friday morning.
Several areas would be without water on Thursday from 18:00 due to maintenance work, the Tshwane metro council said.
Spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said the water supply interruption is due to maintenance work that is carried out by Rand Water.
“It is estimated that the work to be undertaken will be completed tomorrow morning around 09:00,” he said.
The following areas will be affected
• Paramount
• New Mark Estate
• Silver Lakes
• Silver View Ridge
• Silver Woods
• Olympus
• Zwavelpoort
“Once the water supply is restored, residents are urged to use water sparingly to ensure that the reservoir retains its full capacity.”
