MC Riaan van Heerden from Jacaranda FM announced the speakers, who included managing director of SPAR North Rand, Desmond Borrageiro, Mrs South Africa, Sarah-Kate Scott, and Dianne Broodryk and Robbie Kruse, both from Jacaranda FM.
Borrageiro challenged guests to get motivated for the upcoming SPAR Ladies Race, taking place on Saturday, 29 August.
“Write down what you’re going to be stepping out for on race day, and let that be a motivation to be there and finish the race,” he said.
The launch featured a short performance by singers Monique and Willem Botha and the introduction of Frikkie Fiksheid (Bouwer Bosch of Straatligkindersfaam), who motivated the guests to get ready for the race.
