Boy found after abduction
Boy found unharmed in Ga-Rankuwa Zone 4 after he went missing on Friday.
A four-year-old boy has been found unharmed after he appeared to have been abducted in Ga-Rankuwa on Friday.
He was located on Sunday afternoon in Ga-Rankuwa, Zone 4, police said on Tuesday.
Spokesperson Captain Rheineth Motlana said the boy went missing in Ga-Rankuwa and was nowhere to be found on Saturday.
“Residents helped in the search for him and on Sunday morning a woman alerted the community that she saw the missing boy at her neighbour’s house.”
Motlana said angry residents threatened to beat up two people said to have abducted the child.
Members of public order unit defused the situation and MP Angie Molebatsi addressed them before they dispersed peacefully.
Two people were arrested and appeared in court on Tuesday.
