Shabir Shaik threatens journalist
Shabir Shaik threatened to headbutt and assault a journalist during a telephonic interview on Wednesday.
Convicted corrupt fraudster Shabir Shaik caused a stir this week when he threatened to headbutt and kick a journalist in the genitals during a telephonic interview on Wednesday.
According to reports, a News24 reporter contacted Shaik, who is currently on medical parole, enquiring about the state of his health as he was considering going back into business.
Asked about the improvement of his health, Shaik reportedly responded by saying: “My health is improving. Do you want to die? So, why do you want me to die?”
He then said: “I will kick you in the p**s!”, “I could have given you a headbutt,” and “I will break you, white boy.”
Shaik then apparently asked if the telephone conversation was recorded.
When the reporter confirmed the recording, he said: “Who the f**k are you?”
Shaik was released on medical parole in 2009 after serving 28 months of his 15-year jail sentence for fraud and corruption.
