Three foreign nationals accused of running a brothel in Brooklyn will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Hawks spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi said all three, a man and two women, were scheduled to apply for bail. They were arrested in a raid last Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Captain Colette Weilbach said the man was believed to have been the owner of the brothel, while the two women were apparently responsible for recruiting staff.
During the raid, police seized tablets suspected to be drugs, which had been taken for testing, receipt books and suspected fake passports which were being verified.
