Bicycle patrol officers bust man for drugs, driving without licence
Two Sinoville police officers arrested a man for drug possession and driving without a licence.
Two Sinoville police officers on bicycle patrol arrested a man on drug related charges as well as driving without a licence on Friday afternoon.
According to police spokesperson Mirna von Benecke, the two officers made the arrest after they spotted a suspicious vehicle in Doornpoort around 13:00 on Saturday.
“They found dagga when they searched the vehicle and upon further investigation, discovered that the suspect was driving without a licence,” Von Benecke said.
“We are investigating a case of possession of drugs as well as driving without a licence.”
