NATIONAL NEWS: Early morning assault leaves man dead

A man from Germiston passed away after an assault incident.

A man has died after an assault incident in Germiston in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Germiston City News reports.

At 2:30am Netcare 911 paramedics received the call for help and upon arrival on the scene found the lifeless body of a 59-year-old man.

The exact details surrounding the cause of the assault incident and preceding events are still unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
