Residents have fun in the sun
Residents celebrate heritage day by exploring the mountain.
Residents of Wonderboom came together at the lapa behind Wonderboom High School to celebrate National Heritage Day on Thursday.
The event was organised by The Friends of Magalies and started at 11:30. Revellers enjoyed mountain biking and a hike on the Magalies mountain.
Organiser Jannie Kruger said if people wanted to protect the environment, they needed to get out more.
“Our aim is to use the mountain so it can be preserved for future generations,” said Kruger.
