Shop robbery caught on camera
Customer’s cellphone and car keys stolen during a robbery on Wednesday evening, at a mini market.
A popular mini market in Proclamation Hill, west of Pretoria, was robbed on Wednesday evening,
The robbers got away with the manager’s car, cigarettes, money and cellphones.
The manager of Polana mini market, Nazrul Islam said four men walked into the shop with big guns around 20:00 on Wednesday.
He said the men got away with R15 000 or R20 000 from the cash tills. He said they also took his white 2006 Opel Corsa bakkie registration plate, STZ 159 GP.
“Four cellphones were stolen, one belonging to a customer in the store during the robbery. The customer’s car keys were taken but the car was not.”
Police were called to the scene and the bakkie was yet to be found, said Islam.
Police could not give further information immediately.
