Man hanged himself in the north

A man hanged himself in Pretoria north on Saturday morning.

Police are investigating an inquest after a man hanged himself in Pretoria North on Saturday morning.

Spokesperson Lieutenant Rebecca Phatlhane said this happened around 10:00 on Horn Street after a couple argued.

“The man and his girlfriend had an argument and the man left the house to go outside. His girlfriend thought he was going out to cool off,” she said.

She said the woman then went outside but found the man hanging from a tree.

“An inquest docket was opened,” said Phatlhane.
