Pistorius to hear his fate on Thursday
Oscar Pistorius would hear his fate on Thursday as the Supreme Court of Appeal will rule its judgement.
Paralympian Oscar Pistorius will know on Thursday whether his culpable homicide conviction would be elevated to one of murder.
The Supreme Court of Appeal will then hand down judgment on the matter in Bloemfontein.
The State has appealed against the culpable homicide judgment by Judge Thokozile Masipa made in the High Court in Pretoria in 2013.
It argued in the Supreme Court last month that Pistorius should be convicted of the more serious charge of murder.
Pistorius is currently serving the remainder of his five year sentence under correctional supervision after he was released from the Kgosi Mampuru II prison in October.
He was convicted in September last year for killing his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp when he shot her four times through a locked toilet door in his Pretoria home in February 2013.
