Dead man found hanging from tree
A man was found hanging from a tree near Mabopane highway on Wednesday afternoon.
A dead man was found hanging from a tree next to a river close to the R80 Mabopane highway on Wednesday afternoon.
Best Care ambulance service spokesperson Xander Loubser said the man was found just before 18:00.
He said paramedics initiated CPR but the man was declared dead at the scene.
Loubser said it was the time of year when suicide cases were high.
“This is that time of the year. There was apparently another suicide earlier this week.”
A man had also hanged himself after arguing with his girlfriend in Pretoria North on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said an inquest docket had been opened.
