NPA denies issuing arrest warrant for Oscar
The National Prosecuting Authority denies issuing a warrant for Oscar Pistorius’ urgent arrest.
According to recent reports the National Prosecuting Authority denied having issued a warrant of arrest for Oscar Pistorius.
The former Paralympian sprinter was found guilty of murder on Thursday.
Judge Thokozile Masipa’s earlier judgement of culpable homicide was overturned in the Supreme Court of Appeal.
The NPA told media that his sentence will be handed down at a later date and that no arrest warrant had been issued.
Pistorius shot and killed his model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in his Pretoria home in February 2013.
