Tree falls on Old Johannesburg Road
Large tree falls over on busy road.
A large tree fell over onto the Old Johannesburg Road on Wednesday night.
The tree fell over the Old Johannesburg Road south between Panorama Road and Nellmapius Drive.
Workers from the Gauteng department of roads and transport were sent in to cut up the tree on Thursday morning.
The left lane between the two roads is closed and some delays are expected.
Workers would not give an exact completion time, but are expected to finish by 10:00.
