Man who robs school children caught
A man tried to rob school children while they were walking home.
A man who tried to rob school children in Centurion was caught on Friday, Monitor Net said.
Monitor Net spokesperson Etienne Louw said the children were walking home in Rooihuiskraal Road around 10:45 when the robber approached them.
“There was a broadcast over the Wierdabrug Sector 2 CPF radio that an unknown male was trying to rob school children just before the N14 bridge.”
A Monitor Net reaction officer and CPF members arrived at the scene within seconds.
“The suspect was arrested and Wierdabrug police were contacted and arrested the man for attempted robbery.”
