Three suspects wanted
They were involved in an armed robbery in Christiaan de Wet Street, Rooihuiskraal.
A manhunt is underway for three armed robbers who stole an iPad and jewellery in Christiaan de Wet Street, Rooihuiskraal earlier today.
According to Hannes du Buisson from the Centurion Concerned Citizens (CCC) the three men were driving a silver Mercedes-Benz C-Class with registration number DH 90 MP GP.
The CCC Facebook page warned residents against the suspicious vehicle earlier today.
“We suspect these robberies were done in the same way where an Audi was involved before,” he said.
The suspects target women with jewellery and follow them to a place where they can be robbed.
“After they have taken what they want, they take the car keys of the robbery victims with them when they flee. We suspect the reason for taking the car keys is to prevent anyone from following them.”
Du Buisson advised residents to report the vehicle when they see it.
“Do not approach the vehicle because they are armed,” du Buisson said.
