NATIONAL NEWS: Road rage leads to shooting
One man was shot dead on Faraday Street this morning.
The Newcastle Advertiser reported that a man was shot and killed following a collision this morning (October 19).
According to reports, a municipal refuse truck and a Nissan Sentra collided at around 7am near the intersection of Albert Wessels Drive and Faraday Street, the Newcastle Advertiser reported.
In the wake of the collision, a bystander and alleged witness was shot and killed, the Newcastle Advertiser reported.
An unofficial source claimed the driver of the Sentra and a municipal worker got into an argument, when the bystander intervened and told the driver of the Sentra he was clearly in the wrong, the Newcastle Advertiser reported.
