Police nab four for drugs

Tshwane metro police arrested three men for drug possession in Danville while another was arrested for selling drugs in Villieria on Tuesday.

One man was arrested for selling drugs in Villieria and three others for drug possession in Danville on Tuesday.

Tshwane metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba said the drug team received a complaint about drugs being sold in Villieria.

“They arrested one male whom they found with dagga worth R750. Upon further questioning, the suspect led them to Danville where three more males were arrested for dealing and possession of dagga valued at R38 000.”

The men are between 30 and 37 years of age and are expected to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.

“We are proud of the dedicated drug team and will continue to fight the drug problem in the city,” said Mahamba.
