Two alleged robbers were killed by a mob in Erasmia near Centurion on Friday night.

Resident Haroon Abramjee said the two men were targeted by the angry mob after they shot and wounded two house owners.
Abramjee said the mob found the two trying to flee and started to attack them.
“The mob brutally beat the two to death with bricks,” said Abramjee.
He said the attacks happened around 20:00.
Bestcare ambulance services spokesperson Xander Loubser said when medics arrived the mob was hostile. Police told the medics to remain still before assisting the two men.
He said medics found two men with fatal injuries to the head.
“The two were declared dead.”

Loubser said the two homeowners were rushed to hospital in a private vehicle, but local authorities would confirm the report.
Police could not be reached at time of print.
This is the second attack that happened in Erasmia in a week.
A businessman was shot and killed in front of his children during a burglary in Erasmia on Thursday night.
The businessman, Mohammad Zayne Suliman was targeted by a gang who broke into his home just after 20:00, said a resident who asked to remain anonymous.
“They shot him right in front of his young children.”
The resident said it was not clear what the gang was after.
“Suliman did make attempts to shoot back but by that time it was too late,” said the resident.
The burglars fled.
Suliman’s children were unharmed.
Police confirmed the murder and said investigations were ongoing.
Police spokesperson Captain Thomas Mufamadi said the exact details of the murder would be confirmed once all information was tallied.
