Dogs attack robber
“Our reaction officers received the call and went to the residence.”
An unlucky would-be thief targeted the wrong home on Tuesday morning.
According to Bull Security’s operations manager JP Griesel, the man allegedly jumped over the fence in Hoyt Cresent, Moreleta Park, carrying housebreaking tools but was met by two Boerboels.
The dogs attacked him and the commotion awoke the homeowner who found the man pinned down by his dogs.
Griesel said the homeowner called the security company.
“Our reaction officers went to the residence and apprehended the man before handing him over to the Garsfontein police.”
Griesel applauded his officers for always reacting promptly to alarms.
Police were still to confirm the arrest.
