Halloween fun day at the Pretoria Zoo

Pretoria Zoo celebrating Halloween Fun Day.

The Pretoria Zoo held a Halloween event on Saturday.

The event start at 10:00 and ended in the afternoon.

The Pretoria Zoo Spokesperson, Craig Allenby said its Halloween and the National Zoological Gardens of South Africa was in the swing of all things strange, but not scary at all event.

“Children who are not scared, had their faces painted like goblins, ghosts or even witches. Sand art and various arts and crafts also kept the little vampires and werewolves busy for the whole day,”

“What is Halloween without sweets? There were no tricking but only treating with children getting free gifts and candy. Two Halloween mascots also made the appearance,” said Allenby.

The children entered the zoo with half prize and animals at the zoo were given pumpkins with their favourite treats to also get into the Halloween spirit.

Selina Maake Zoo educational officer and the members of the Zoo club kept the children busy with some edutainment games were the children were learning more about the animals in the Zoo and as well as playing animal games such as communication by sound kangaroo games and guessing games.
