Oscar conman jailed
The fraudster demanded R350 000 from Pistorius so that he could quash his murder conviction.
A man who attempted to scam former paralympian Oscar Pistorius out of R350 000 to make his murder conviction disappear, has been jailed.
Tshifhiwa Radzhadzhi (33) appeared in the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Pretoria on Monday, where he was sentenced to four years in jail.
Radzhadzhi was also sentenced to eight years, four of which were suspended, for impersonating a National Prosecuting Authority official.
Hawks spokesperson Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said Radzhadzhi was arrested on 18 March while receiving a deposit of R40 000 in a sting operation.
