Cyclist dies after getting hit by bus
A cyclist died in a horrific bus accident on Wednesday morning.
A cyclist died when he was hit by a bus in Silverton on Wednesday morning.
Life Med ambulance service spokesperson Jolindi Prinsloo said this happened on the corner of James Drive and Pretoria Street.
“Life Med received a call at 06:56 this morning. The cyclist was declared dead on the scene by another ambulance service,” she said.
“Our crew confirmed the deceased was hit by a bus prior to our arrival.”
Prinsloo said the cause of the accident was unknown.
